Just refound the forums so thought i'd post a few up to date pics of the clio as it stands now, this was at Chatsworth house in Derbyshire, its on my daily commute to work, not that the damn clio sees that very often!

yes mate, i have a full spec if you like, and it was rr'd couple of weeks ago at 228bhp and 202lbft of torque at 12psi which tbh am not that happy with having pretty much rebuilt the entire car over last year on my drive, lol

History
Bought the car off Matt over on CS in early 2007. Was magazine featured in PFC not long after and within 2 days of the shoot it blew up! After the head gasket went I decided to rebuild the engine and give it a thorough clean up.

Was up and running again by the French car show in the summer, only to begin smoking badly, this was pinned down to the turbo seals going due to overboost. New turbo unit later and all was well, for about 3 minutes, then the clutch decided to go aswell

Fitted a helix paddle clutch and just got her running again on boxing day 2007, for the MOT to run out two days later!

yeah at the fly matey, i want 250 really for the limit of the chip but thats at 15.5psi and i only ran it to 6000rpm at 12psi on the RR so fingers crossed for the next one!

erm, the standard box probably wont last very long, the cars history has 2 reciepts for brand new boxes in it, and this one is now only arond 4k miles old and its making horrible noises and i have to change the oil very regularly as its full of swarf, bearing in mind the oil in the gearbox is sposed to last the life of the car!oops!

Chris, thanks for you kind comments, its not perfect but its getting there, i need a garage really to keep it nice, the car cover has spent the winter scratching the lacquer again so i need a decent PC come spring and the dreaded rust is trying to take hold of my arches, but i'm fighting the good fight on that front!

dave - commute from north sheffield all the way to flippin darley bridge everyday! massive trek but the route is frankly stunning so am not to bothered, gets a bit hairy in the winter tho over the tops!lol

christ... yeah driving through chatsworth isnt the worst place to drive through, if you dont mind the sheep. but thats one hell of a journey. i work in ashbourne and live in wirksworth, dont know if you know either
