Morrow afternoon I’m picking my VaVaVoom

Cheers fellas,

Almost midnight and I am getting to my bed. But there is some nervosity in me.

Tomorrow afternoon I am picking up my VaVaVoom at the dealers. When I was picking my MkI car I was cheerful, optimistic and anxious while now I am just dead scared.
I have read too many negative re/views and opinions of the car. En plus, I know a lot more about the 182 than I knew about the Mk I.

I just hope they assembled it well and solved those teething problems evident at the start of its production. I have my fingers crossed mates.

VaVaVoom 182 ?

Good luck!

I know its been said before many times, BUT, it really *is* worth the few nigglies. Try to enjoy the experience and your new car!!

People only post on here with problems.

I had zero problrms when i picked up my 182, and didnt post as there wasnt anything to moan about. I recon there are ~9 good cars for every one lemon, and even then the dealer should sort it. Hope yours turns out OK matey.

yeah true depends what u mean by niggle, the only one I can think off is cd changer not bolted down with all four screws, only 3, prob cos big bolt under bracket mind,

and right headlight washer has slight crack so when I squirt it leaks out of the side.... lol slightly

Dont forget to bed it in hard for maximum power.

Within 20 miles you should have had the red line it will ensue the piston rings make a good seal. So less oil burn and more power.

Enjoy the car though dont woory loads of poeple have good 182s. Anyway it would be boring without a few rattles.
