MOT Failed

Had an MOT on the ol bessie today, heres whats on the failure report...


Both front tires below legal limit. Offside rear tyre sidewall damage and worn to excess
Failed Emissions test:

Fast Idle test CO <0.3% actual 1.75%
Second Fast Idle test CO <0.3% actual 1.85%
So now i gotta either replace the cat and tires (which are on steelies which i dont wanna do coz alloys are on the way in the next few months before i pass my test) or find someone on here who lives near gillingham to lend me 2 steelies n a cat

go pick up some secound hand cheapies from the scrappy. actually mate where abouts do u live? ive just stuck me alloys on my car that i got.

im in southwest (Torquay) if your near u can borrow em for couple months. if not scrappy best bet, and the Cat either scrappy or search on the net for cheap parts

im all the way in kent, gillingham to be exact, i know a few lads on here live near me, one actually lives the road just behind me lol.

May try the scrappies if i cant find anything, the cat is 87 quid brand new, but as i wanna run a de-cat pipe, i only need it for that 1 day of the year which is MOT time lol

hmmm, everybody seems to failing their MOTs recently and Ive got mine booked in on Thursday!
