MOT - How much ££

As title really.

How much should I expect to pay at a half decent Renault franchise?

I'm not interested in how much a local garage or shite fit charge.

Convenience.
It's about 1/2 a mile away from my house.

I've used them for parts and I know they have looked after a few of us Cliosporters down here in the past inc a Cliosport Discount :D

Cheers Edde.

From the 1st August 2005, the maximum charge set by VOSA for a standard MOT is £44.15 + VAT

  2007 MK5 VW Golf TDi
I get mine done free... Something to do with buying it from Lookers - they give you a free for life MOT :D

My old Clio was like that however the dreadful dealership where I used to live would find stuff that needed doing (advisory) when really it didn't just so they'd get money out of you somehow.

It's a standard £35 for an MOT at a Renault UK dealer.
Note quite true.

It's £44.15 around all the dealers in Hampshire, I just asked the garage owner at Simpkins (Chandlers Ford) Renault.

I said Renault UK dealer, i.e Renault Wolverhampton, Renault Birmingham not franchise.

Well we don't have any of those down here.
I suspect they are all franchised to be honest but if you say so.

I'll be going to Quick Shaft next time lol

  Lots of Alfas
My car had its first MOT at Renault, I think it was £39. It was odd because they passed it with a broken numberplate light and a jammed seatbelt.
