Mounting mk1 Exhaust!!

how stupid is the design, where the exhaust mounts from the back box from there is goes over the axle with a mount there which is poor to say the least, then from the point on where it bends there is nothing there until the middle of the car to mount it so it just flops down!! what do you guys do to keep held up tight as it clunks everywhere!?!?!?!

Cant really help you fella on a mk1 but i do happen to have a spare powerflew rubber mount if you need something a bit more sturdy. Dont know if its the right size or not tho. Just found it in the garage.
