any good software for making avi's into mp4's for the psp and ipod video?

and how long does it normally take to convert an average size avi like 720mb

Xilisoft psp converter is pretty good. i think to make a 700mb film into psp resolution .mpg is maybe 15 mins? cant remember. it depends heavily on your machine though.

Yeah, i reckon your computer will just about be able to deal with it then!

I dont think its free, you get a free trial though which could probably be persuaded to change into an "ongoing evaluation version".

I've never tried putting the same files on an iPod as I have sony mp3. why watch them on an ipod when u have that lovely psp screen
