I drove mine properly flat out everywhere most of my commute was B roads with a few town sections and it done 45-50mpg most weeks, taking it easy on the motorway at 70-80mph it would do 60+
it was 10mpg worse off in each situation than my dci 65/80/100 for *indicated* mpg, I never worked out actual mpg

I know mine is an 86 model, but mpg won't be far off.
I get about 57mpg commuting, and that's not driving like miss daisy either.
On a motorway run, I could do about 60mpg. The most miles I've ever got from a tank before the light coming on, was about 750 miles.
