What capacity is your tank?

Claims are claims, not proven results.

my tank is 55ltrs

i see these claims time after time an they seem to be backed up with simalar claims

i take most of these with a pinch of salt manufactors claims are worthless in the real world but its the volume of real world claim its so many my mpg doesnt seem so great in comparasion

I got from Walsall to Bruge and back to the French border on a single tank however many miles that is?!?

Da

  Less
500 miles from 55 litres equals 9.1 miles per litre of fuel.

Now equate that into miles per gallon...

55 litres is equivalent to 12 gallons, so 500 miles from 12 gallons is 41.7 miles per gallon.

What are the claims from Reanult?

see my 197 says i am currently due to get 430 miles from my tank. but it's just a load of shite. the mpg figure is not accurate either. over reads by a good plus 1 mpg easy.

people have to fill up reset the counter and run it dry, then fill up, keep a note of the milage and then get how many litres you put in to fill it back up again to see your accurate mpg.

197
Fuel ConsumptionUrban 24.3
Extra Urban 43.4
Combined 33.2
CO2 Emissions (g/km) 199
i was told take the lowest value an thats the best idea of what your get

lets be really geeky the vaiables on this are huge the use of my ac doesnt help i dont have an exact millage i some time i get more then 500miles or less before i fill up the places i drive change the only same factor i use is i fill up as soon as my gage hits the red marker i still have fuel left i normal put around 37-40ltrs i dont know exact figures again so in theroy id have 10or more left which could give me more then 100es makeing 600 the trip isnt going to know exactly you need to use science an maths on ever changeing factors

either way the trip doesnt give acturate readings an a 197 shouldnt do 400plus to a tank unless it driven to the fuel tank is dry ;)
