mrk1 valver brakes and mrk2 brakes

Are the discs and pads on a mrk1 valver the same as i have on my mrk 2 phs 2 clio 1.2 16v

So if i was to buy valver discs and pads i could fit them

258mm is standard on the front of Valver/Williams if that helps.

yes the discs will fit in principle as they are stil 4x100 and 60mm center bore but you need the valver/williams calipers with abs sensors as the valver disks are vented your 1.2 brakes are solid discs and only 239mm i think....
might be able to pick up a pair on clio16valver.co.uk but valvers rarely came with abs (it was an option) so may just be easyer to get an disc/pad upgrade for your standard brake set up or get 172 set up if your after some better stopping power.......

ABS only valver brakes (discs and pads) are no different to non ABS

iirc, fred mentioned something about the 1.2s being compatable with MK1 valver brake setups. Think you may need the whole setup tho as above

so you will beed valver calipers with abs sensors in them for the abs to work......

or just bin the abs
