MS Word 2010 Whizz Kids - Numbering Problem

Car  172 Cup
Afternoon All,

Is anybody on here a whizz kid with the horrific programme which is MS Word 2010?

Having problems with number - i.e. doesn't follow logic.
For example I'm trying to continue numbering from 6.1 but it continues with 7.2.

Life would be so much easier if this god awful programme didn't exist.

Cheers
Bark x

Just gave that a stab but I don't think it likes it due to it already being a numbered document with an additional point added in.

Cheers for the quick replies sbridgey :)

Hey bark.

If it's not a private document send it to me and I could take a look.

PM me if you want to do this.

Sadly it's a contract thing relating to the business so can't really send it :(
Thanks for the offer though.

Spotted you a few times recently but you've always been past me by time I've realised lol

No worries, you could always try copying and pasting the text into a new document and then re-doing the numbering?

Yea I spotted you once a couple of months back on A194.

I'll give that a try but I need to continue to track changes, I'll end up losing this if I C/P it into another document?

Turn your
