MSN Messenger 8 (Beta)

Hey,

Has anyone tried this yet? I managed to get my hands on it, and here are a few screen shots:

Kinda still getting used to it at the mo, as it's more advanced than MSN Messenger 7.5

How did you manage to sign in? It's for beta testers only and if you try and login it tells you your ID is not allowed access.

There is a program that downgrades the proxy that the program uses so you use the proxy that the v7.5 uses.

got it working but you have to have a rather annoying pop-up style window open at the time (to get around the beta login only)

Not sure it's worth bothering with the beta, seems pretty much the same as the existing messenger.

Anyone know when version 8 is due for release?

I do like the ability to be able to share a folder with a contact though,
