MTB

Went out with a lad from work on his MTB today, few shots of him and his mate being mental b*stards.

Oh he's 15, with a 40D, Canon 17-55 f2.8, Sigma 10mm fisheye f2.8 and a has a 70-200 f2.8 on order, c*nt.

Anyways.

More here FlickR

They seem a little dark on here compared to Lightroom.

They're not bad, personally I'd have like to have seen a slower shutter speed to capture some movement.

Tried a few, failed. Didn't have loads of time as I got called into work, so going back soon when I have a full day, and to play with some off camera flash too.

Not too bad really.
I spent a good few years travelling to the UK races and a hell of a lot of money on film. Got some good pics but a lot of bad ones.

Need to get back in to it this season with my digi cam...

One of my old fav's taken with cam phone

I missed this. Some nice shots in here. Greg, some of yours may benefit from a slightly tighter crop on the rider IMHO.

I was asked to do a shoot for the local club the other evening so I went along to try out my new lens.

Christ they're sharp Andy!

I'm going again on sunday afternoon, so will give it another go.

And I'll have a play with crops in a bit, cheers mate.

The pictures blew me away to be honest. I hardly had to do any PP, the colours, contrast and sharpness were just spot out straight out of the camera.

I used to dislike looking at 100% crops from my 40D, but these are just as sharp at 100% than they are at normal resolution.

No regrets on selling a kidney to get the new lens anyway, it really is an amazing piece of kit.

Can I interest you in a swap for it?

Non working pancreas, appendix removed 7 years ago and a kidney?
