mud guards

Im about to be fitting larger wheels and im pretty sure i need to remove the guards. I havnt done it yet byt when i do should i treat anytihng under there with any sort of protection from rust etc?

Rust! Its all plastic mate.

The mud gaurds are held on by pathetic plastic fasteners which u can slide off with force. Its a 30sec job but it will make ur car look nicer.
