Multifunction Printer

I really need a printer that fax's, prints photos etc AND is very small and looks good.

For less than £100. Am i asking too much?

Plenty of all in ones at pc world . I think you might need extra software for faxing , i think norton used to do it ?

I've always had epson printers cos of the quality , epson scanners are supposed to be good as well so i would imagine the epson all in ones are pretty good .

What you have to watch out for is if you can get compatible cartridges , cos the originals cost an arm and a leg . You can get compatible cartridges for the less popular printers but they can still cost between £10 and £15 . You can usually pick up epson compatibles for a a couple of quid , ebay , computer fairs etc ......

last printer i was was an epson c84 and it broke after a year, just out of its warranty. Wouldn't buy another

Tesco were doing a FANTASTIC brother unit that was scanner/printer/etc all in one for about £70. the print quality was awesome and very fast too (about 20ppm) Sadly it didnt send faxes, but it did have a great memory card reader built in, and standalone copier. I'm gonna get another one once I get some spare cash

Last lot of epson compatibles cost me £36 for 36 cartridges , can't get more reasonable than that Print quailty was just as good as the originals .

If people want to pay silly money then thats up to them .

Why would you want two ?? I don't think any of em send faxes , get some extra software for faxing .

Hmm.. I doubt it sadly, I've never really had feelings for printers..

There are Multi functions with Fax built in no software required.

HP G55, see what replaced that or similar model!
