I took my mates MX5 round Cadwell Park for a few laps the other week, its a 1.8 with a very close ratio six speed box. Drove amazingly well, handled ridiculously well and if it was slightly more practical I'd get one....but I do like my PH1.

What sort of MPG do they return? I'd be tempted to get one as a daily if it's better than the 182?

Mine does 34mpg average, most tend to be lower though (mine's a 1.8)

probably gonna sell my white mk1 tbh, aint used it in three weeks due to my new job. and took my bike out last weekend for some rear wheel motorcycle wannadrift. prefer that.
i mean dont get me wrong, the mx5 is the first car in a long time i can happily drive everyday, which is rare, and it looks cool, but not using it is a crime!
