well i have had my car for a few months now and i have just completed my first mod, painting the diamond badges orange. it is a simple mod and i think it looks very good.

i think that my car looks pretty nice and i dont think the wheels are too big.
i am just looking for some other simple and cheap mods to do.
i was thinking painting "16v" badges orange
aero wiper blades
painting calipers(not sure what colour)
need a new grill but rs grills are failry expensive i think.
anyone got any other ideas and i am not sure if it has been lowered at all, how can i check?
if it hasn't been how much would it cost and how easy is it to do?

It's not been lowered as it looks like a range rover

Someone should be able to tell you key identifiers on the OEM springs which will confirm that it's still standard.

Love those wheels. Lowering springs or coilovers (budget and insurance allowing of course!), and as mentioned above, a damn good clean !

It needs nothing else.

and large drop prefs,

then smoked side repeators,
CC
and RS grill,

then a very good clean! lol

its on the edge of being a very nice car, just needs the above touches imo

i have now given it a wash.

obviously the next thing that happened was it rained.

going to buy some smoked repeators what do you reckon to these, i have no idea whether they are any good or not.

latest update:

fitted bosch aerotwins, silvervisions and black side repeaters.

Just needs an RS grill, Coilovers and Colour coding i think

i have used my awful photoshop skills to photoshop an RS Grill on my car and it makes a nice improvement, tidies up the front a bit.

i think they could be copies but they were on when i bought it.

my coilovers should have arrived today so it will be being lowered

I recieved my rokkor coilovers a few weeks ago and have only just had time to fit them i also got an RS Grill.

After 7 hours on saturday my rokkor coilovers were fitted, but still needed some height adjustment

i also fitted my RS grill which was acctually quite easy to do

i am happy with the results and think that my car looks much better

i can cope with the ride not being as smooth and it corners really well now i'm very impressed with these cheap coilovers

have no spacers on it but i do have some 15mm hubcentric one you can have brand new with bolts, pm me if you want them

hi welcome to CS.

not sure how much i have lowered it because i used coilovers which are adjstable so you can get the height just right.

start a project thread with some pictures and i am sure you will get plenty of suggestions on what to do, if you become a paid member there are guides to help you too.

Very nice car, i was thinking of going for the black/orange with my dynamique too. Im sure theres a dude on here that paints bullets for cheap, you could get them orange with the 16v in black or vice versa. All it needs now it CC door strips and a nice short arial or shark fin.

Btw how much were your coilovers and where from?

i am going to leave it like this for a bit i think and save for a 172

i used Rokkor Coilovers which are pretty good for the money as they only cost £160 got them from ebay.

Might have to make the purchase.
Needs a colour coding (All or nothing.

) + a sport rear bumper.
Its a ball ache to do it but it looks the part.
