My 1.9 Derv

been on the forum a couple months now so decided id throw up a project on my first car 1.9d (non turbo)
heres how she was when i first saw her parked on the grass and for £650 id be stupid not to have a quick look

ended up having a test drive and placing a deposit despise it sounding like a transit van:rasp:
so later on i ended up with this sat outside of work

first thing on my list was to get rid of the ph1 rears and get some ph2s to smarten her up a bit so i went ahead and boughts some thanks to cotball on here then she looked like this

after a long day at the scrap yard i finally got a hold on some dual optic fronts which surprisingly were in very good condition and after some help from my step dad and the tutorial on here i had them fitted in no time

on the way home i scraped my drive which mad me realise...... i need hammerite on my drums:rasp:

so went out with a friend and ended up buying tinting spray gloss black spray and a dynamique spoiler so after a long day heres how she sits now

i really like this.. doing some good and subtle mods. i hate the ph1 rear all together so why not a ph2 rear bumper? my opinion ofcourse
but i love the dual optics on the front!! and cant go wrong for 600 quid mate.

oh another thing ... after all the complaining i did about the loud diesel noise and everyone saying oh its just because its an old deisel , it turns out my flexi pipe bracket had a huge hole in so got that sorted and shes so quiet

yeah a set of pug raptors i picked up for 40 quid with fresh tyres WINNING! and i need to order a set of spigot rings asap but three of them are silver so ive got some respraying to do meanwhile havent seen another clio with these wheels (although someone will probably correct me) mainly because im sure alot of people hate them, but i dont and yeah completely random tbh i didnt no they did one until i saw it haha and if i did do anything id probably just use the front bumper as i like the look of it not a big fan of sideskirts myself they seem like a cheated 'lowness' look

your going to have to order adaptors, pug wheels are 4x108 iirc. and renault is 4x100.

centre bore is different too, and you cant spigot ring to make the bore bigger....

my mistake, 65.1 on the pug compared to 60.1 on the clio.

my thoughts exactly haha im waiting on my birthday in december till the coilovers get ordered and ill slam it on these, then make the choice of switching wheels . Still need colour coding and other little things too but it doesnt look too bad ATM

late update but car is now slightly low on coilovers and the r5s are gone due to sill action over speedbumps lol ill let the pictures do the talking

Looks good, what coilovers is that on? I assume you have to corner at 5mph unless you want it to rub constantly? Does it handle like a pile of s**t now?

Lowered on racelands needs more lows on the back though and yes the front was way too low I've put it up slightly though so I don't get stuck on my drive lol and it actually doesn't scrub unless I put it on full lock lmao! Thanks for the feedback anyway I no not everyone will appreciate the lows but not much I can do with a 5 door 1.9 deisel ! And kermit loves it!
