my 1 year pics

as it was a year yesterday since i wrote off my old hybrid thought id take a few pics a year on... enjoy.

how my old one looked the night i crashed it...

then the next day looked like this...

2 weeks later picked up this little beauty for £900

then started to change over all the good bits from the smashed car and got a garage to change the engines for me.

few days later looked like this...

and 1 year on looks like this...

dont think you can get them in reno fitment,i wanted a set of these in black but my mate who deals with speedline spoke to them and they said its very rare they have them or you'd probably have to wait months

thats how i got them mate, just polish them everynow and then to keep them looking good. they have been refurbed at some point but i don't know who by done them sorry.

i thought that might be the case as i had a look for a set a few weeks back and found nothing, only found them in peugeot/citreon fitment. i'll e-mail speedline and see what they are saying.....

Hybrid is a reference to a car which has had an engine change, valver-williams = hybrid

when people refer to a clio hybrid they usually mean a 1.8 16v shell with a 2.0ltr eng. mines also got williams widetrack which is what makes the williams handle so much better. wheels that were on the old one were lenso kr5 in 17's, good for looks but performs, hmmmm

dunno where i got turbo from hen, i think it was in a pot ages ago some guy had a clio turbo and called it a hybrid, and some knob end who i used to work wth kept n going on about hybrid turbos, just got drled into me,

1. yep its a hid-kit, they cost £100 delivered from www.hid-lights.com but u seem to be able to get them a few places now, e-bay etc..
2. yer, theres a little ding in the rear passanger side, its been like that since i got it but have'nt been arsed to sort it out just yet but it on my list of things todo...

What kit did you get?

i got the x5 hid conversion kit ( 9k colour temp, violet/white, h4 fitment) ive only got dipped beam hids tho, the bi-xenon kit is £160 delivered and you get dipped and full beam hids with that kit. mine goes back to a std light when i switch to full beam, its not the best but i hardly ever use fullbeam so its fine for me.
