My 172 back from Yozzasport

My ph1 172 has been at Yozzasport for some treats. Initial rolling road was disappointing, before the work, with 134bhp at the wheels. When the head came off all became clear - a broken cam follower - the car's been running on 15 valves from the show room.

The work carried out included:
Schrick cams
Manifold match
Yozzasport centre section and backbox (awesome)
Plenum painting (pics to follow)
Remap
Battery relocated to boot

The car now has 170bhp at the wheels - so work out what you want for the 'dyno'. It is an absolute missile, the sounds incredible, the throttle response is amazing. I love it and fully recommend the excellent service received from Andrew and Fred at Yozzasport.

No, it still runs the std ECU, just been totally rewritten, by my understanding.

lol - when I saw Yoz the other day I was gettin my coilovers fitted and mentioned my missus would kill me if she new how much I spent - Yozza suggested getting into covert underground car modifying - could be a good money maker lol.

I reckon you must have spent approx £2000 - Saw the pictures of you cam follower when I was at Fred's - Must be like a different car now - loads of extra power - sounds real good as well - NICE

that does sound mint. not loud enough to piss your neighbours off, but mint at high revs. high lift cams are on my wish list more than ever now

That ain`t right is it? Mine seems to always get between 153-157 atw....what would that work out as?

I would say that 134 atw would be about 160 ish?

Depends on your RR ... losses will vary from site to site. Gary is probably using the losses that Mass have on their setup (28%) which have been proven over and over (from dyno figures also done on site)

That would put it to 171 ATF.

But, I dont think this was run on Mass' RR as the atw figures seem quite high if you were going to use 28% as your losses.

Yes it still has a Prospeed sport cat on it. Just waiting for one other graph, I might made a booboo on the ATW figure - could be a shade under 160 not 170.
