my 172 cup not as fast as it use to be?

Ide set it on fire, For free. Fuel paid for too, and traveling costs back and forth to "London".

Just so no one gets stuck with this hump'o s**t

its a 52plate, late 2002 172 cup

bought it 2 years ago from someone who had it from new which im still in touch with.
92kmiles fsh the engine was rebuilt 2 months ago from essex engines southeast london in woolwich. At the same time it was serviced, had cam belt changed, and engine rebored.
its has 8 month warranty and they have done a top job. Engine bay now look mint. comes with 10 road tax and MOT till feb 2011.

car has had the following mods:

FK coil-overs adjustable height costing £700
koni dumpers adjustable dumpers
182 ktec exhuast costing £500
trophy trendline seats costing £900
v6 airfilter for cold air intake.
Momo steering wheel
BM quickshift

car looks stunning and iv taken it to many renault meets and gets good complements, starts every time. with 172 bhp from a very light weight car its very fast 0-60 in 6 sec.

Tbh - I'd never trust a seller who couldn't take the time to use grammar and correct punctuation in his ad.
 
Maz, you're a class A r****d! Take it back to where you had the engine rebuilt, and get them to fix it. Dont phone them, don't send them letters. Just take the f**king car there for them to look at?!?!
 
Does this mean i can sell my 172 Mk 1 as MINT the coil pack is playing up but lets not add that on the add....... its mint and drives spot on :rolleyes:
 
What kind of chump puts up numerous threads on a Clio enthusiasts website about how potentially FUBAR their car is and then tries to sell that same car to the members of that website?

The problems you have encountered trying to pull off such a trick are as following:

A) People can read.
B) The majority of people on here are fairly intelligent.
C) You are not.

The winner of the CS award for the Chump of The Year 2010 goes to you.
You are also in the running for Thread of the Year 2010.
Not bad considering its only February.
 
Just read this thread from start to finish! Funny but a bit disturbing at the same time (in several ways).

As said if you have an issue with the car why don't you just drive it to the garage that rebuilt the engine and tell them it is not running as it should? Get someone to follow you there, hand them the keys and just leave them the car to fix.

But quite glad I didn't take you up on your offer of car plus £500 to do a deal on my TT when it was for sale a couple of months ago.
