I went to veiw her after veiwing around about 7-8 others and decided she had to be mine:approve: dealer wanted £3500 because of it having full history and because it had i aftermarket exhaust he thought it added on £200 to the asking price.
Got it for £3100 in the end and as soon had i got home i added clear repeaters and chrome indicator bulbs.
I wanted to play about with her all night but the sun started to go down.:dapprove:
Once in work the next day i made me these number plates to advertise the site a little futher.
A few weeks went by with out doing much more but then on one weekend i decide to borrow the buffer from work and give her a little paint correcting session and as luck happens the sun came out and she started to pose.
The good lady bought me a new cd player for the only reason that i wanted one with a usb connection.
Lying in bed one night i thought to myself ''i wonder what it would look like with all the badges painted grey'' so the next day i went to work on the idea.
The results
The rear diamond looked funny with being grey and the button black so i painted the button silver
Calipers were looking rough so out came the silver hammerite
Headlight had a fefurb while at work one day and while then i though i would have the bonnet and wings painted and doors blended.
Thought at the time she was finished
I then got the cleaning bug again and fell i love with the shiny look
I got a secondhand megane ph2 spiltter from the local scrappy for £2 and fitted it.
Then a few months went by and i got bored so out come the grey paint again. Scuttle, fog lamp surrounds, grilles, splitter rear bumper moulding, rear wiper and cover and wheel diamonds were painted.
The engine cover got painted and engine bay clearned a little
Looked different all over again
Came across a led bulb set for the interior but it wasnt that bright so i added a few more light in the rear
and bought a rear number plate light
Everyone was painting their wheels gray so i wanted a piece of the action so off to work i go and while painting the wheels i would re-do the bullets in the same grey as the wheels.
The cat and fiddle run came along so i went along. Was i little foggy though.
For now shes done although was thinking about going back to silver wheels.
