MY 172 SPEEDO HELP!

Hi everyone im a new member and have a clio 172 and my speedo has a mind of its own it jumps to different speeds and gets stuck sometimes, it only does it from time to time and someone said to me iys becasue i have a dvd headunit ?? and it interfears anyone no if this is true

Could be a turbo or super charger lurking under there hense the jump in needle lol

I too have a DVD head unit even though it is rarely used as one, and it has no impact on my speedo - sounds like nonsense to me.

not true,depending on whether the remote lead/antenna cable on the dvd unit are wired into the iso block then they WILL tamper with the speedo
