My 182's first MOT

I was reminded by letter today my 182 is due its first MOT! (My first MOT as well)

*Cross fingers* Everything is ok and it sails through!

There must be a few people on here getting there MOT's done especially if you car was registered in March 05!

I thought mine was going to sail through its first MOT last year and it failed on emmissions, but of a shock really, luckily got it sorted under warranty but car was off the road for a week and had to pay for another MOT.

Oh yeah the warranty isn't up till end of Feb, need to get it booked in with Renault in that case, in case something does go horribly wrong!

My Vee had its first MOT last week. Booked it for one day under a month from the first registration date to ensure that I had maximum warranty to run whilst still getting an MOT that runs from the registration date.

Passed without problem ... well apart from the very tight clearances on the ramps and rolling road .

Mkae sure it doesn't fail on the basics - lights etc. and do a check of such things before you drop it off for the test.

Have to love it when it all comes at once, payed the insurance last week too, 300 quid and then the tax is due as well!

Mines booked in for 1st April! as its runs out on 28th April! so gives me a few days if it has any probs! and its booked in for an oil leak top of engine (gasket or nut) and the o2 sensor seems to be nacked

Mine pissed through when I had it done at the end of november, same was true at it's 36k service. Yet to have to do anything other than replace tyres (alot, lol) top the oil up every once in a while and have it serviced. So much for French cars being s**t, this and the 172 it replaced have both been good as gold.

Well mines through. Like testing a brand new car was one testers words, the other says he hates tyre dressing !

Good to know my washer jets worked as it was the first time they had been used in 3 years !

First time mine have been used, ones on the lights aswell of course, Xenons looked so good in the MOT station . Only about the second or third time the wipers have been used.
