My 225 TT

That's a lovely example gstar, I'm after a v6 front bumper for mine too but they fetch a pretty penny, coupled with the lcr splitter they look sick.

Red leather and LMs suit your car nicely too :)

Cheers Chris. Am well pleased with it. I've got other alloys as well which I'll probably get some winter tires on and stick on soon as I think the amount of salt they dump on the roads round here will tarnish the polished dish on the LM's pretty quick.

Standard rims have been refurbed and are mint as well. These are the ones that came with it. Not sure if standard S-Line ones or RS4 or RS6 jobbies. I'm not up on my Audi rims.

That's stunning Gstar!

But with mine it seems to average 25mpg when I'm commuting, so 12 miles in traffic on 30/40 zones. As soon as I do abit of motorway driving it goes up into the 30's.

Mines the same, I would say in town it averages around 23mpg and on a long run somewhere around 30mpg. It's a heavy car, thus shite on fuel compared to my 172 cup!

Got hold of some S8 Style wheels just for afew weeks while I have my RS4's refurbed. Going to lower it over Xmas, just on some Eiback springs.

You "hate" them Cat? Would you be physically sick if I drove past you in your Laguna.

No I'm not keen either, like I say they are just on as the RS4's are getting refurbed, I'm thinking of having them done in a dark metalic silver. Then I'm either going to sell the S8's on (which would cover the cost of buying them and refurbing the RS4's) or have them refurbed aswell, black maybe.

Or maybe Eibach.

no point having two sets of wheels.

I've got the standard 9 spoke one's that came on my S-Line and they're nice but I much prefer the LM's on it. I'm thinking of getting some winter tires for the Audi wheels though and running them till they stop salting the roads as I can see the polished rim of the LM's getting tarnished easy.

  Turbos.
I think the S8 wheels would look cool if they didn't have a chrome finish. They suit the concept car looks of the TT.

I think if you were to get them repainted, lowered it and then de-spoilered it would look really cool.

Love GStars' car.

That's pretty much what I think too. I'm also liking 'battleship grey' TT's at the min (Nimbus Grey iirc)

rear end becomes very slippery.

Audi wouldnt have spent millions recalling every TT and fitting a spoiler if there wasnt a genuine saftey risk.

not something ill be doing.

plus im undecided if they look good or really bad with no spoiler

I've seen pics of a de-spoiler Nimbus one which was modded too, that car looked ace.

I've also jjust seen 'aviator grey' hmm too washed out, weak colour imo.

They would need a few mods to work de-spoilered.

My boss bought a rear skirt thing and a larger spolier for his TT looked cracking.

  Turbos.
Nimbus is a very nice colour...

They just look so cool without the spoiler, as proven above! Surely the solution is to not go too fast or do an elk test on the M25...

It is very nice yeah - but rare by all accounts which if you have one, but sourcing one will probs be hard :dapprove:

If I can find pics of the one I mention i'll put them up later, it is a very nice looking car.

The recall wasn't just for the spoiler, the main issue was with the suspension setup. :)

Saying that I quite like the small spoiler on the back!

  Turbos.
Looking on Wiki cars got a suspension setup, ESP and the spoiler.

So if you remove the spoiler, you still have ESP and the suspension to rely on. If you were to lower the car, this would help matters further and if you were really keen, you could put on a subtle diffuser and make up a flat floor.

They also stuck a 15kg weight inside the bumper on the rear nearside as well. Read someone's account on the TTOC and they removed the weight along with the rear tow hook and braket and saved about 18-19kg. They also removed the spare wheel and toolkit. It raised the back of the car a bit and they found it very keen to step out if mid corner. Erm... No thanks. I'm not a rubbish driver but I'm no hero either!

I like the look of that black de-spoilered car posted but at the same time I really like some of the spoilers people have on them as well. I think it's a shape and style of car that suits either.

I like the aviator grey -

Not sure if this is Nimbus or Dolomite grey but I like it. Better if it was a coupe though....

I'd love a white one. Vinyl wrap in white with carbon roof? Hmmmm. Could work a treat.

Not sure about Java Green but could grow on me.

Wish I could have this for my job car..

That's like the one my boss had, he did something to the rear bumper bit where the exhausts are aswell.

Was red and very tidy.

Funny story, stopped at a local garage for a chat, keys in the car.... stolen right there and then.

Found about 20 miles away 2 kerbed wheels.... The wheels were around 5-600 each.

Lesson learnt.
