end of the day in my mind, theres nothing you should be able to do in a car that sets the bags off other than smashing it into a f**k off wall.

I dont work in the trade any more Harry? I am completly agreeing with you here, it is unacceptable which is one reason why I wouldn't be bent over by the dealers for it. Yes, I've seen customers turned away from getting things resolved, but the calm, matter of fact ones usually get what they want.
Air Bags have a shelf life of 15 years iirc so if yours are going pop now something is amiss and I'd expect it to be sorted, whats to say they dont all start going pop, or you have a new one fitted and that goes pop?
