Renault Sport Grille! :approve:

About £40 from the stealers, easy to fit too and it makes a huge difference (In my eyes)

Edit: Remove sport badge, what beef-mc said.

How come remove the 17s? IMO I really like my wheels. Any idea what it can be lowered? 40mil about as much as you can go?

Cheers for the thoughts

  RenaultSport clio 182 mk2
Put 16s on it and drop it 40mm on springs or get some coilovers and do it properly! Take off the sport badge.

The RS grill arrived today :) Can't wait to get out of work and get in fitted, more pics to follow.
Also planning this weekend to go get some MDF & Carpet for the boot, need something to screen the amp & sub box onto, as its sliding about constantly at the minute.

Oh and I also ordered RS side skirts last night

As said really, lose the lights, wheels and the numberplates.
Would say lose the sport badge but then i have one on my car... in the right place though.

As for lowering, you can go a lot lower than 40mm. Mine is around 90mm i think.

  wait and see ;)
you got the same last name as me:) lol,,, lower 60mm remove the sport badge because its not a sport,,, lights and number plates look good imo,,, and fit the grill

Yeah, theres a lot of you guys saying get 15/16s on her. I have 15s in my roofspace with 195/45/r15 tyres. But I like the 17s a lot more, and will just lower it on those. Tends to look a bit more chav like with the 17s I know, but big rims is were its at :) It is a bit more of a rocket with the 15s on though :)
but thanks for all your opinions guys, get some pics up tonight.

your choice homie!:rasp:
but imo they look better with 15/16" rims and lowered by 60mm+, whereas with 17s u are restricted to 35-40mm tbh.

I slammed my old one 60mm on 17s, Was fine on 18s too when I had the arch linings removed and arches rolled. This is my old clio, pics are about 4 years old!

I'd remove the sport badge and put some silvervision bulbs

  renault clio 1.4 si 2000
ditch the sport badge mate, get yourself a nice cliosport sticker off here! stealth shelf will make those 6x9's sound better with a stable mount, plus they won't get swiped. mine's dropped 40/60 on 17's, but it rubs even with the arches gone. silvervision bulbs +1. huge difference for something so small!
ps ditch the bird poo on ur rear window ;)

Haha re: bird poo. Need to give it a propper clean / polish + get some good photos not taken on m phone!

Im deff sticking with my rear lights, I don't mind the standard ones, but every clio has them!
As to the wheels, Might get my 15s revamp'd and painted black or white. An have it super low. But I really love those 17s. And calling them sh*## Is a bit harsh. No-one else in N.I. has those wheels and I think they look great, but fair enough if they aren't to your taste.

Another ph3!!!

you should think about changing your 6x9s for some decent back quarter ones, if you think about it 6x9's are loud speakers, no? what do you do when you go to a concert...... u dont stand with your back to the stage do you?.... i dont anyway so get them sold n get some good quality speakers in the quarters n doors n set them up good. then you have a clear parcel shelf so no chance of it gettin broken into for some speakers. im not a fan of the wheels but end of the day not my car, so keep them n try filling them a little, so bigger brakes maybe and i like the yellow caliper aswell mate. i see the idea behind the sport badge its covering the holes from were the "clio" badge was. keep it if ya like dont listen to anybody on here its your car n that goes for me too. you could lower it 40-60mm pref the latter one, and get it colour coded. should look top s**t then mate

Ok guys, gonna take the 15" wheels out of my loft and spray them.
Theres a few chips out of them, what can i use to fill these in and sand down before I spray? Cheers

Basecoat nearly complete. Laquer to come shortly. Trying the rear strips first to see if i can get a good finish. if i can then i'll move onto the rest very soon. If not dad has a sprayer in work, so it'll probably go to him i guess :)

nice work with that :)

  2002 Clio 1.2 16v
How did you end up colour coding, did you spray or your dads mate? Ill have to get mine done soon.

  "Navy" N17 TWO
Looks good Petey :)
RS grill works wonders for the front end.

Are you keeping the 17s & yellow calipers?
If so I'd lower it about 40mm on 17s if you don't fancy getting coilovers
And do something else in yellow to go along with the calipers, just look a bit lonely lol

can this be moved to clio projects?

Just have to PM a mod for that mate

  Ph1 172 + Combo van
colour coding looks good that was a good mod
what are the 15inch wheels you are changing to?
imo i think you should lower it 60mm and get some better number plates those ones you have look rubbish i think but its your car at the end of the day!

decent job you done of the spraying, well done.

id stick the standard wheels back on it, 195/45/15 tyres and slam it about 90mm like my old one! lol
