My bonnet wont open..........!

just tried to top up water, pulled the bonnet lever and nothing happens!! Wont click its stuck very loose! Tried spraying some wd40 but no lucky

Idea's please!!!!!!!!!!!!

has the bonnect catch cable snapped?

happened on my clio, b*****d to replace :|

There is still some give on it so dont think its snapped but cant see it cos cant get access to engine bay unless i use brute force..........

you should be able to adjust it at the lever point where u release the bonnet.. make it tighter so it pulls the catch

i'm not sure on mk2s, i had a mk1.

I just used a spanner :\

take off handle and cover, then the plasitc panel, use an adjustable spanner to turn handle through 90 degrees.
