my car smells

no- seriously. every time i really blast it (on track) it smells like the catalytic convertor has given up the ghost or something. i am worried that it has got a problem. it seems slower now than a few hundred miles ago but i am putting that down to the heat. does anyone know what is going on?

also- has anyone done a renault motorsport night at a dealer? if so what were your lap times on the big game thing, and what track did you race? our dealership gave away those formula 1 remote control cars for all the winners. were there any variations?

griff- renault invited us to a night at the dealership where there were competitions to win driving days and silverstone tickets with pit passes for next year as well as scalectrix burgers and hot dogs and drinks etc. managed to talk them into letting them give me a megane 255 for a blast- twas fun. but not like the clio. anyway they had a ladies race and my other half won that as well- so now we have a pair of these cars. i just want to see who had quick laps on the game- i got 3.57 at magny cours beating my nearest rival by 46 secs, but the missus won by over a minute. a highlight was watching all six screens on the first corner. it looked like every girl had their own way of causing a f1 car to barrel roll.

16v-the smell is a bit like, well not beefy, more like bad eggs, but one mans beef....

whatever, it is wrong i am sure. people are beginning to stare when i drive past in the trail of my farty car.

actually it is a bit like a beefy fart. dunno, its just wrong. do you reckon its just an exhaust thing? i drove a ruf a few years ago and it stank!

My nephew and I went to a renaultsport night. I won my heat (cant remember time tho, but it wasnt fast enough to make the final). My nephew made the final and came second overall. He won a RS F1 goody bag. The guy that won must have been the inventor of the game lol. He was awesome!

My renault dealer has these things all the time. They also did a casino night, complete with £1000 in fake chips lol
