Evol engineering do a gear box mount commonly known as the dogbone mount, top engine mount, and a gearbox top mount the is underneath the battery. Put the battery in the back ive got mine behind the passenger seat, ive took out the inside of the front lights apart from the indicators and fitted an induction hose through it. Upgrade the leads and spark plugs, solid top suspension mounts, usual black powerflex bushes but select which ones before buying a full kit, brake discs go for dimpled and grooved or grooved only not drilled as they just clog. Slicone collant hoses and air intake MTC, braided lines including rear beam section and upgrade exhaust mounts . You can spend thousands but they are the mods i have done or doing probably 1500 quids worth, then its exhaust if needed and ported and polished manifold and throttle body , then you could get into cams and lighten flywheels etc.
Here is my 172 track built project need a lot of work but want to know best modifications to do has few like engine mounts decat full exhaust system roll cage and bucket seats but want to make it look the part any suggestions would be a great help
