Hi, not long joined the forum, posted a few times, thought id introduce myself properly - from North East UK.

Im 18 just bought a Clio 197 - pics below, thanks for looking.

Enough , did have a Saxo VTR, upgraded to this last month. Really pleased.

Hurts, but something I have really wanted - saved/worked hard. 100% Worth it.

Not just the power increase, but the build quality from a Saxo, things like Air-Con/Cruise Control/ Traction Control lol

Was looking for some help with what colour these wheels are? Are they renault standard anthracite?

I would get cheaper insurance on a 197 than my 182, not too sure why that is.

Enjoy the car and dont think about what you pay for insurance.. if i did that id have a R26 sitting next to my Clio.... OH, wait.... s**t

2700 is cheap really when your 18 but im glad being old as at 30 i pay 385 for the bora , mapped, 18s etc and the clio 172

I'm not sure mate, most paint shops will do a nice shade of anthracite and I don't think you'd notice the difference tbh.

welcome dude nice car at 18, i had a 172 cup at 18 which i saved for, makes you appriciate things more when you pay for them yourself!

the anthracite colour- ive used rover stone grey in the past from halfords thats the best match ive found to the 182 anthracite colour!

I think £2,700 is pretty cheap tbh for a car like that @ 18. However, I wouldn't pay that much for insurance. I think I'd have waited at least a year or two.

I had a 205 mi16 at 19 and mine was 2500, same as the cost of the car! Still I had a blast in it and dont regret it, so fair play to you!
