My clio is on fire!!!!

that was my first thought!

whilst having the emissions tested for mot today a big bang and this!!! the header tank top blew off as the fan didnt kick in!!! and now the garage (renault) cant get there head round why its happening replaced the relay and its still not kicking in!

any body know of this happening? is it common?

iv had it for nearly 5 mths and i got it cheap if you remember!

dig out the code reader see if it comes up with anything before replacing relays FFS

^^lol, highly doubtful.

Will be the engine temperature sensor or coolant sensor or something.

At least you have found out early on that there is a fault before head gasket failure kicked in

power probe the fan motor, flol laugh if they hav cooked ur engine
