Glad you like it, but you will get used to it. The speed will eventually get boring....

Get used to it yes..........boring, I wouldn't say that! I've had my 182 cup for a year now and every time it gets driven hard especially on track.......I'm amazed at it's capabilities!:)

the best thing by far is the sound,

the speed is terifiying to start with but the more you drive it the more friendly it gets and the delivery is so much more smooth than standard, you know whet its going to do, no unexpected kicks and stuff, just pure deliverable power.

im very used to jons now i think ive driven it aboyt 1000 miles now..

in fact im still insured on it for another 10 days..

if i wasnt feeling so ill id be requestiong the keys

gearbox will cope aslong as i dont miss gears and grind it..... touch wood, and fingers crossed lol

i would have thought you should have bough a coil pack first!:rasp: , looks mint! i need some in my life, just checking the lottery!:cool:

Looks great mate. would like to see a vid of it. I take the bodies have a foam front cover on them when in use ? Have you had to remove the grey plastic front grill for this then foxon.

Bet you got fat grin on yourface when you drive it & plant loud pedal ?

took her out at 12 last night, about 10 degreesoutside n my god did it fukin fly n the noise was amence!! nearly deffened me!! i love it! :D

I've got to tax my car on Monday and if I can I need the tracking doing as well. Also there is a high chance I will be working, if not, I shall indeed maybe pop down to the asda minimeet thing, althou i'm a bit put off by the usual lot that seem to be around there late at night driving about with a passenger hanging wildly out of the window and the silly loud revving of their 1.6 zetec engines in their 5 door escorts....?

the ali rad helps when you see if from the front as the std one even like this does obscure the air to the right two trumpets, also if its in its std position it is worse.

with the air filter on the slam panel cant be used to lock the bonnet, as its too flexible once the panel is cut and could lead to either not being able to open the bonnet or the bonnet not holding shut... you could leave it in modified and have pins, but even then it gets in the way and is thus pointless imo

no your correct... the load is being reduced on the rollers to set the fuel level for each load site at that particular RPM

i would of thought u would map it with the air filter on etc, so it was closer to real world setup? and a more accurate map?

mine was on a different RR near me that imo over reads, but I think mine still makes more peak power, but speaking to Andy and Stu's power band and torque is a fair bit better than mine, as his is still making power at 7500rpm, where mine tails off quite a bit due to the cams... not to worry though, mine's being dropped off soon for more toys ;)

why do throttle bodies give such a good increase?
i know there are cams aswell and the other stuff done, is it just the smoother airflow into the engine combined with all the other work that gives the big increase?

As standard you use a single throttle body and plenum set-up which has a long inlet tract. Removing the long tract and using 4 individual throttles and bigger injectors means you get a lot more air and fuel into the engine faster, thus more power.
