My Faulty Clio (The plot thickens)

As few of you are aware i have had problems with my car taking 4 atempts to fix the cluncking on the suspension and engine knocking also the passenger door rattle.

Here goes the results:
1,The door rattle, i have been told that i need a new passenger door because part of the weld on the door strenghtner has 3 spot welds instead of 4 so they are ordering a new door to check. So i ask cold you not look at another door on a clio and they said it was a lot of messing about. Then i asked if renault could not supply a picture of the door to see, or even check on the parts computer because they have a expolded view of every car made.

2, The knocking, the strut top adjustments are not working so they have to put a new suspension on maybe the tops or the whole thing.

3, The engine knocking, New mountains

My thoughts
1, The door is ratting because they have broken somthing inside and can,t repair it.
2, The Strut tops, They have took too much of for the adjustment and made it worse
3, Engine mounts, Design fault or faulty goods.

you are not alone their mate with regards to your engine mount and suspension knock.from new i had a suspension knock when turning or at full lock this turned out to be the turrets for the suspension legs needed to modified (grinding the hole to make it elongated) the knock soon stopped. now for the last 3 months or so i've had squeek form the o/s/f suspension the dealership replaced the top mount and its still noisy starting to do my head in a bit now. i also have a knock from the engine when moving in traffic and dip the clutch. my mate who works for a renault dealership reckons on some 182's the engine mount bolts are touching the inside of the body causing it knock. looks im gonna have to book it in AGAIN!

Suppose you have to them there chances Lee... At least you aint paying as that is a serious cost... my only worry would be that the new door will require painting.

Yes i asked them and they asured me it would be a good match. If not im gonna scream shout and even swear.

lol.. i took my car in ages ago with a knocking on deceleration

gave them info on where it was coming from, when ti did it, and said i think its the top engine mount gone.

''weve checked it all, cant find anything wrong or loose, but the knockings stopped''
go to pick it up, drive it across their driveway, knock knock, showed the technician had it booked in again. was there a day ''we have ordered an engine mount for you to be here tomorrow so your car will be ready tomorrow'

why didnt they just do it in the first place.

now ive got another knocking/clunking when setting off slowly and it sounds like the bottom engine mount has gone.

ive also started getting that aweful creaking on full lock..
