ITB'd 182...
starting to modify the clio a bit more now so have decided to start a project thread.
i got the clio back in july. one lady owner before me so i was happy in the
knowledge it had'nt been screwed. also with fsh i was over the moon.
when i first got it i swore i was going to leave it alone and not mod it in any way.
firstly i stuck some french plates on it
then i set about tarting the engine bay up.
i got a carbon engine and battery cover, samco 90 degree elbow and a itg
panel filter.
while fitting i decided to paint the inlet manifold to set it off a little bit
more
then i got some silvervision indicator bulbs front and rear
a carbon fibre cup splitter
a 3/4 size front number plate and a civic type r aerial
then i left left it like that for a while and i started to loose interest until i
started to get intersted in the clio cup series. the clios in the series look
mint imo so they gave me insperation.
here are a few
so with my new found insperation i gave my little plastic friend abit of a
hammering
then with a bit of browsing on the web i found a site called camskill who
sell toyo proxies T1R's for just over £30 a tyre so a set of four were on
theyre way.
then was looking on the for sale section and 197gaz was selling his h&r's
so i got myself a bargain off him (thakns gaz)
so the got everything together and fitted it and went out for a country
blast in the lanes.
completely transformed the car and was amazed with it and imediatley fell
in love with it again
so i was chuffed and could'nt get out of it and then had a bit of a meeting with a kerb :dead:
so had a new rim sent straight away and fitted.
then went down to rentech for its 48k service and some uprated brakes
fitted. no pics of them sorry
then my first track day came curtesy of cliosport.net.
did castle combe in the rain.was super impressed with clio and with the
suspension, brakes and a nice set of toyos it performed brilliantly
and thats atm.
alot more in the pipeline but saving for hols atm.
all comments welcome
