Don't use html mate. Just use the

Very tidy mate. The colour is very vibrant.
What's with the scooby number plates?

I'd suggest an RS grill. Would make a big difference.

Apologies for pic quality not the greatest camera in the world.
Mods so far:
Silver visions front and rear,
blue vision main and side lights,
power2night dipped head lights,
colour coding,
civic aerial,
dash strips and gear inserts colour coding (will be pics too eventually),
CS stickers ,
CS mats,
Orange footwell lights,
Disco in the glove box...
MP3 adapter,
Alu pedals and megane footrest (turner172 version)

Any recommendations? Looking for spare set of door handles to colour code them eventually, don't think I'm gna touch any performance areas don't see it as worth it on a 1.2 also don't want any insurance stings!

Personally, i'd get rid of the number plates (scooby?! seriously. wtf?!?) and the cliosport sticker, it mahooooosive!

But the car does look nice and tidy. Looks 1000 times better colour coded. :)

Lol the plates were a present just waiting for the police to tell my to change it before offending the buyers, am a big scooby fan though! Yer the colours really grown on me since colour coding feels nice n unique now, how much am i looking at for an RS grill?

Yer would say the stickers are a bit on the big side, considering removing all of it but the URL just a big fan of the site and thought stickers shud reflect it... on both sides! Am getting fed up of people saying "but its not a sport" I just show em a flyer to shut em up though!

Considering a small number plate on the front, say just shortening the current plate so theres no white space, or scooby either side of the letters, is this legal?

Got stickers off today, still waiting for bloody post strike to end before i can finish off my interior and get them pics up here!

How easy is it to change the grill? Looking at getting one, probably next payday!

Your colour coding looks brilliant for a DIY job! im considering doing mine myself to save a bit of money! Not sure if this is the right way, but im assuming I would remove the side strips, sand them down a little, prime them, paint and then laquer.. What process did you use? and where they easy to remove? I would also like door handles done too, how are they removed?

I might make it a job for the weekend! Can you recommend a spray paint product to use?

Cheers
Ross ;)

Auto-paint.co.uk for your base coat as they give a great colour mix. I used Hycote plastic primer and clear lacquer I think Autopaint sell both of these but I got them from my local car shop. Best guide for all this however is FM-AVA's colour coding one in the guides section. Not sure how the door handles come off, I'll look in my Haynes manual soon and PM what they say about them to you, unless someone on here can help before that. Side strips are easily removed pull out and forwards for the back and out and backwards for the front, as with most parts on the clio it just requires a yank, however iffy they feel.

Hope it goes as well for you as it did for me, reall happy with it.

And as for the scooby number plates I'm just waiting for the right excuse to get them off, I'd far prefer plain ones, but don't want to offend my present buyers!

Also while I'm on here does anyone know where I can get some spare exterior door handles? How much are they from renault and how do I order parts from renault?

cliosport sticker has to go get one in the back window if anywhere otherwise tidy nice effort;)

just read thread sticker has gone good lad get a small one in the back

Is a great colour shame they dont use it on more models... Those are all nautical blue yeah? Kinda hard to tell between it and I think arctic blue? On some photos. Jamies wheels look well nice in that black shade, how was that achieved? Yup jus a lowering for yours and it'd be sorted!

yeh they are all nautical, like I said, Jamies alloys on that pic are a photoshop.

Lowering and megane splitter for me and it will be sorted :)

By the looks of the thread lots of peoples advice has been taken n the plates have gone as with the stickers (apart from the url) thats it till I can afford an RS grill! O and wen my stuff finally comes to finish the interior!
