Just turned 27 and i work in retail, nothing fancey.
I have owned approx 6 172s in the last 5 years
and yes i do post on jap forums like the mlr :rasp:

Dude i also own a 600bhp evo which destroy the FQ400 :approve: I think i need something more casual for work but with a bit of poke!
400 destroy an m5????????????????? I dont think so mate!!! both have almost exactly the same 0-100 mph time and after that id put my house on it that the m5 would pull away due to the fact that it will do 205 mph. yes the fq400 is very very fast but its definately no faster than an e60 m5!

Limted to 155mph and 0-60 in 4.5s, it weighs 1830K'gs

Itll do 176mph and has a 0-60 of 3.5, it weighs 1470Kg's

When BMW say they limit their cars to 155... It doesn't mean 155 dead, from experience you can get a LOT more. Plus there are a few methods of getting past the limitor.

I also thought the 400 had Carbon "DTM style" Mirrors too?
They are aparently a ball ache to live with. I know Ant for one hates them as his old White 9 GT had them when he got it and he got rid. But IIRC the previous owner of this FQ400 removed them.

E46 M3 or E60 535D M. Testing driving both tomorrow. I would say a E60 M5 and a FQ400 would be level up to a ton but after that the M5 would pull away nicely. In my VII i would tear a 3rd, 4th and 5th hole in both. That comes from experince of driving a M5 on a regular basis.
