Have seen a pic of one on cooks and cup shocks an it looked like it sat well tbh. You'll need to drop it a bit more for those though.
Remember my old pro race 1.3s I had on the old Monaco with eibach? That was some serious arch gap, standard shocks too. This is true, coilover low's will make it sit lovely with the 15's..... 16's look perfect with the current drop!
Yeah but gold look loads better on yours.
Yeah if I got some they’d be gold for sure.Yeah but gold look loads better on yours.
Cheers mate it’s getting there slowly lolI've got to say I prefer it on the OE 172 wheels..
Your car looks so good mate
Yeah definitely well packaged up lolGreat stuff mate - glad they got to you ok.
Cheers mate, I’m undecided on the oem wheels tbh.looks great on the original wheels!
looks great on the original wheels!
Already on fresh cup shocks and cooksports but in hindsight wish I’d gone for the bilsteins.Totally agree. Original wheels and a bit more of a drop and jobs a dood'un.
The bay is crying out for a new coolant tank
Mick should do arb Friday night hopefully and I’ll have to book in with APT to get the camber bolts done.ARB =
I said that too lol, BUT.... I know it's on the list
APT? As in APT in Lenwade? Wowzers, that takes me back, always used to be up there with the RS Turbo's etc especially when Christian worked there. Bet it's changed a bit now!
Yeah just outside Norwich, they mainly look after high power jap cars but do others. It’s where brad took his vxr for geo setup.APT? As in APT in Lenwade? Yes mate but Mick can’t see me till Thursday, it was posted Friday arrived half 2 today. That's good you now have it, was reasonably quick to be fair
I prefer the gold F1s too tbh but the 172s serve a purpose for winter.Looks great buddy, need to get myself a rear arb after all the good things I keep hearing!
Personally I prefer the gold F1s all day long, but the 172s still look great.
Not really hooned the car properly yet but looking forward to it, will definitely get my mechanic to fit the front arb bushes if I get them done.Yeah I agree there. It looks great on the gold F1s but nice and subtle on the 172 wheels and a sleeper look at that.
Glad the whiteline fitting went well for you. It's an easy job but as many jobs that your unsure about, it can be a bit nervy attempting to do them. Glad you had help. This place is great for that.
The PMS stuff will add a greater turn in feel. I can't comment on the brace, but the mounts make a difference.
I recently did the lower arms and all ARB bushes on mine. Feels great now, nice and tight, but I'd advise to get the car on a ramp for the ARB bushes or get a garage to do it! If you decide to do them, that is.
Bonus man points hahaGreat stuff, glad to see it's all gone to plan buddy and bonus points there for fitting it yourself, nice one :up:
I've noticed a big difference with my Whiteline as you know, hopefully you'll feel the same. Be interesting to see what the brace and top mounts add to it overall too, as we've a very similar set up now of course except I have standard top mounts and OMP brace!
Hopefully mate!I noticed a massive difference with my roll bar to, you’ll love it!
Yup :grin:Brace and mounts for 120?
I know right! Just need to clean them a bit, grease the bearings and get them fitted with my Eibach bolts.Bargains
