Never trade with main dealers - they're just not interested in doing a deal at proper values and why would they? They get plenty of muppets who just walk in and just sign up for finance to pay for whatever marked up price / devalued trade-in that they can come up with.

incorrect. I got a great price for my Ph1 172 back in March, and they knocked £500 off the 182.

not all dealers/salesmen are the same.
