ahh ok, prefer the original if I'm honest - wheels are p**n though ;)

Wheels are nice but the bumper looks weird, gun pot hole on one side yet nothing on the other. Prefer the orignal front bumper.

all csls have a caf as standard, gives it the more modern look and splits it from the rest of all the normal m3s in this case.

Oh I kinda like the front bumper! Nice!

Looks fantastic mate!

How have the costs been?

  Turbos.
Nice work! Are they genuine parts or Vorsteiner gear?

As you were changing everything, you should have gone for rear wheels all round! You just swap over the front top mounts and bingo, epic stance.

It feeds the massive intake, which is what makes the awesome noise! At the end of the day, it's function over form and one of the most distinctive features of the CSL.

Odd how no one even mentioned it when i posted photos of mine!

It's a replica csl bumper
It's a genuine CSL bumper ;)

Costs have been enough to buy a genuine CSL although I wanted the looks without the compromise of the CSL. Plus, I'm too broad for the seats.

I didn't think the offset allowed or is that where the swapping of top mounts comes in?

love it!

Doesn't the CSL have a carbon skinned roof? You should get some carbon vinyl on it :)
It does. I wasn't trying to make a full CSL rep', I just liked the general look of the car.

Thanks for the comments Guys.

Cool well played mate, I didn't think it would have cost the same as a CSL tho!

Hmmm car + parts must have been more expensive than I thought.

  Turbos.
Yeah, swapping top mounts would clear the issue, with a certain amount of camber.

Don't vinyl the roof! My mate's done it on her M3 and it looks crap. Unless you get it lacquered i suppose, but even so, don't see the point in faking CF.

Anyway, good job. Must have cost a fair whack. Do you want CSL seats? Heard a full interior was going.

looks really nice, CSL's look so much more special over a normal M3

  Turbos.
I dunno, the bootlid is pretty cool, too. Front bumper inserts I'm unsure about but I think it looks good overall.

CSL bumper is a lot deeper, so in the flesh the car looks meaner. I personally think it's a good thing, but everyone's different i guess.

At the end of the day, must be a reason why all the E92 bodykits are a rip off of the E46 CSLs...

The parts aren't cheap. The wheels, bumper, bootlid and diffuser including paint were over £3k which is very cheap as I found a few bargains. Then there's everything else I've spent on it.

It's the car as I wanted it though, the looks of the CSL with the luxuries of standard.

Not a fan of the wrapped roof's either as they look so out of place.

I don't fit in the CSL seats Eng', my shoulders are too broad.

Very tidy indeed, mate. Good turnaround. Those wheels are epic. I loved mine.

Cheers Scutchiroo, I love the car now.

hummm. Ok. Wheels would of sufficed!...Looks good tho.
Chin up Welshy.

They're not inserts Kid, it's the real deal.

Is that the rear splitter you brought down to show Danny that day?
Sweet lord, that thing was horrible. It's still sat in my shed. Good work on shifting the MG.

looks great, the wheels you had before were so poor, great turn around! :)

Love that!
Thanks Guys.

Love that, did you not consider buying a CS though?
A CS has the majority of the CSL bits I wasn't too bothered about, quicker rack, M-track etc.

I was concerned with the CSL looks without the seats that crushed my chest cavity.

Looks nice but I would have spent the money on engine bits to make it go like a csl

But weighing so much more than a CSL it never would go like a CSL. If that was my main concern, I would have just gone down the CSL route.

The handling of a CSL is in a different league.

I've got a AATechnik remap so it should be around 350bhp which I'm more than happy with.
