Just thought I'd try and give something back, a few lads on here have given me some good suggestions, anyway I've now cured my Clio of rattles - even with the sub on.
Sunroof - Remove rubber around sunroof, using a stanley knife slit a line on each of the four corners of the sunroof - gently prise the roof lining back - nip up the bolts with 10mm spanner don't overtighten whatever you do - if your using a sub, slit the roof lining slightly more so you can access the bolts easier and coat them in glue to stop them coming undone. Replace the rubber surround and job done, you can't notice the slits at all hardly as it's that type of materal. Be prepaired to loose a few gallons of blood and a few layers of skin in your quest for a quiet Clio. Also watch out for the fibreglass as it f**king itches.
Boot vents - The two air vents next to the boot floor just underneath the boot catch need to be removed if your using a sub - they have little bits of rubber in them which vibrate.
Boot Trim - The two corners of the actual boot each have some plastic covers on which can be removed they do nothing except rattle.
Boot lock - This finished it off and stoped the last of the rattles - it produced a quite violent rattle for a piece of metal, basically my MK1 has cental locking and in the boot next to the rear wiper motor theres a flimsy piece of metal wire thingy which moves the boot lock over locked or unlocked - anyway theres also a hole in the metal surrounding it a zip tie through the hole and over the metal tight enough to stop the vibrations but not too tight to stop it moving to lock the boot will sort this
Also make sure the two rubber legs either side of the boot meet the boot frame both sides or your whole boot will rattle
Plus
One annoying thing which used to happen to my Clio was the two black parcel shelf strings used to hang out over the rear lights when the boot was closed, to fix this double loop it at the top where it joins the boot and place a small zip tie over the top of the loop.
Another thing is the rear wiper can be a right b*tch if you have sub a tempory fix for me was some black fuel tubing from a nitro car placed between the wiper (Which doesn't clear the windscreen very good anyway) and the windscreen it's hardly noticable and stops the rattle completly.
Of course rattles will vary from car to car but I know the sunroof is a common one and for anyone with a sub the boot lock will probably be common aswell if it has the same mechanisam.
Feel free to add more bodges to defeat the rattles - you don' have to put up with it
