My Mk1 Ph1..The Story(56k Just no)

I got this clio three years ago ..when i didnt have my liscence as part of a sort of project. Baught it for £360 ..to be honest it was a shed/max power effort..note the sunstrip -

Anyway ..my clio's das was sprayed silver and black...very very badly(again a max power effort a previous owner tried)

(note the s**tty seat covers...were only there as i didnt want to get the seats dirty.

So i get a fone call from a mate who knew some1 breaking a clio..so over i went and took the dash out. Then fitted it to my clio

I also got new door cards for £10 ...i dont have pictures of them tho.

Anyway ...i done a lot of work on the car...just was trying to get my driving liscence ..learning to drive etc..so i eventually passed my driving test ..got some money together and got a good friend of mine to get it MOT'd ..it had over heating problems.turned out to be the water pump..so we got it throught the MOT with only one advisory.

So the car being old ..things went wrong and still are lol
So i drove it about like this for a while...my bonnet was major dented,my sister was getting rid of her black clio ..the bonnet was perfect so i thought ..why not..lets get the bonnet on.

So i drove it about for a month or two...then one of the back shocks decided to snap..then ofcourse the other side went..so i thought..rather than get standard items..i opted for a full 60mm lowering kit PMC ..springs and shocks.

So i had the 15" kahn rsr wheels on..it rubbed and scrubbed like hell. On these-

So instead of getting a lower profile..i had a set of 14" wheels in the garage..so i put them on..and it handles like a go-kart to put it nicely -

Currently at the moment the car is sitting waiting on a new clutch,fuel filter,new throttle body and rsi brakes..all in time..its just the money side of things thats stopping it. LOL

Anyway that was a brief story on my wee clio.

Its been a long project, but it looks great. Shame you wont let me torch it with a petrol can Only joking.

I still like it.

lol adam...sometimes i do feel like using the match n petrol effort..when one thing goes wrong everything does pmsl

I got the same but with different dash dials. Anyway i noticed in one photo you have removed the front fog lights. Was this to replace them due to corosion if so i have the same problem, what did you do to resolve it, repair, source other originals or fit new after market fog lights?

Oh aye the fogs are back on..the previous owner replaced the fogs with halogen ones...i removed the fogs as i had the bumper off ..to try my hand at repairing it which didnt go to well with the paint matching...Thanks for the comments
