Car's looking good, stance is nice and new wheels are a big improvement.

The only car I miss is my old mk4 1.9TDI.
Wasn't fast at all only 90bhp, but so nice to drive and really comfortable, did so many miles in it.

Wound the front coils all the way down, wishbone is about 3cm off the floor, driveshaft is practically touching the chassis and my CV boot will probably go every week, but it looks cool.

Cant get full lock either on 15" wheels

Doesnt look low in this pic for some reason, Front and rear are below the tyre but doesn't really look it.

It's not too bad turning right and going straight but it hits on a tight left corner. Getting a notch soon.

Ive prob got around 10mm but it doesnt touch. I need a notch to go lower. Then i can run engine spacers again.

Exactly the reason my Toledo won't be going silly low. Looks surprisingly good on the standard 15s.

I'm just glad I got the engine spacers fitted last year as I'd probably be on my 10th sump by now. It looks ok I think, but 16s will finish it nicely, then onto the bodywork.

Yeah a mate. Not a major job but I'm not so confident with a welder so il let him do it lol

Hopefully will be the Montreal 2s, may not have them anytime soon though.

Haha! Well my subframe and wishbones are closer to the ground than the sump, havent even got a mark on the sump, one or two light scrapes but nothing major. Lets hope it stays that way lol

my old Mk4 tdi150 before it met its tearful end :( god damn potholed camber roads

although it was dropped another couple of turns at the front and one at the rear... 205bhp and about 370ft/lb but clutch was slipping like mad so full power run was aborted :(

Was far too dark to get the notch done, also a lot more work that I thought... 2/3 hours I'd say would do it. I've started to naturally carve my own notch anyway lol

Sorry, you lowered it so far and now it's going to break a lot?

Are all young people retarded these days!

If I had dead hookers in the boot the last thing I would be doing is sitting on a Clio Forum commenting on my 'broken car' :rasp:

What had you done to it for it to reach that kind of power?

WTF. It's so low you are cutting the body apart to fit a drive shaft where it's not meant to go?

Every mk4/Bora/Toledo has the same issue with d/s hitting the chassis rail.

Either get it notched or break a d/s every month and fail M.O.T

And defeat the whole purpose of what I'm trying to do?

It's low, I wanted it low. It's safe, as I have to drive like a granny, and it's driveable.

thnx

Lmao. He wants it low. Oh no! Now lets see if any of the above have commented on Winstons car negatively..
