It was £1500, 110,000 miles, Only Mods are the wheels which are 15 " MOMO Ferraris, and the steering wheel is a MOMO!!

I am the third owner the first was a woman who had it for 8 years, It has full renault service history up to 2001, came with receipts for over £3k in servicing, repairs, wheels etc it had £800 spent on new clutch, brake discs, brake lines, full service back in June 2003!! It has a tracker! Sony flipfront CD player and sony 6x9s! 6 months MOT no Tax thou!!

I today bought a set of Morettes and am going to get a new set of 17" wheels!

Got a quote for de-locking today at £300 sounds a bit pricey dont ya think?

Lovely car - a late Phase1 by the looks of things.

You pay for what you get with painting: ask for a breakdown of the quotes you get and see what the labour rates are. If the labour per hour is the same for two different quotes, then they must be spending longer doing the work or using better materials. Worth it in my opinion - Ive had some shoddy work done in the past. Looked class at the time, but was very thin paint and crap lacquer.

Valvers always look good on big rims and de-locked, but think about spending the dosh on lowering and perhaps some Phase2 trim first (which you can colour-code easier). The most seriously tuned Valvers and Willys tend to stay with the original body and rims as theyre about as good as youll get anyway!

looking good but one suggestion before you do anything else, get the manifold heatshield replaced as from going out with benr with him following me (on a test track) at 130mph when the manifold gets hot the heatshield can smoke or even catch on fire if its touching the manifold. new ones are about £45 i think itll also make the engine bay look tidier if you put a new one on

ouch, im having doors smoothed (bump strips only) and bonnet debadged for £200! ask around, i wouldnt pay £300 for delocking.
