H&R + Pole Position'd Cup
Picked up my new car last week and I love it. It's completely standard, but with climate control (a fake cup i know). My first french experience and it didnt start too well with the climate control breaking on the drive home. Turned out the resistor had gone, which cost £70+VAT!
It drives nicely, it's comfortable enough and looks the sex. Having driven a little 1.2 corsa for 3 years, its a nice step-up performance wise too. Gobbles petrol in comparison though.
The one thing I'm still not completely used to is the clutch. Is it normal for the clutch in clio's to be sort of jerky? It gets stuck just before the biting point and then jumps past it. Also doesnt really like the cold it seems, nor does it like going slow Brakes don't seem to be working as well as they did when I got it either (unless its just me getting used to them). Any ideas?
I've been meaning to get some pics up but was going to wait until I could get some decent ones. However, the weather has been shocking so you'll have to make do with these.
In terms of mod's, I'll be keeping it fairly standard. I've had the wheels refurbished and bought an expensive cup badge from the stealer. Now I'm after some sportlines, new seats, ITG panel filter and a new exhaust system. Then eventually, performance mods when I can afford.
Before anyone says - yes it's missing the cup splitter. Will be picking one up from K-tec asap. :approve:
