My new baby, Carmel What do you guys think?

Plans:

Clay bar, machine polish and detail car!
Hopefully lower soon 50mmish not coilys,
Paint the wheels,
Uprated intercooler + remap i want 130 bhp from it if i lucky....

Will take a bit of time though as this car cost me a fair bit and so did insurance!

Loving it, just went for my first drive as owner (had to wait to pay for insurance), and all i can say is wow.... no body roll, power in all gears when the turbo kicks in it it really does have a good bit of power....

I named her Carmel my girlfriend doesn't like that ! Fast though, only thing is i thought it had a mpg dial but it doesn't...Nevermind i love it

they do have an mpg thingy just click the end of the wiper stalk and it comes up in the screen, car looks smart... just bought the girlfriend a dci 100 and they are pretty nippy!

Wish I never bothered with a 1.2 and went straight for a DCi. Looks tidy

mine was a quick wee car when running 130 odd bhp and 190lbft, i had the torque limited at that due to the clutches, but you now get uprated clutches for them so over 200lbft is possible

Anyone know where to find uprated intercoolers? And do sport lowering springs fit these? Springs come first, but then I wanna look for some more power although earlier i was doing 110 (private road wink wink didn't notice I was haha was a hill though xxx

wouldnt bother with an uprated intercooler the standard one is pretty well designed, you can use a generic uprated one with some custom pipework if you want to go bigger.

any non RS springs will fit it, wouldnt bother though unless you are changing dampers too or going the full way and getting coilovers. the standard dampers are too soft even for Eibachs

Good choice. Wish I'd have gone for a dci instead of my 1.2.

They're pretty nippy even standard. Especially once rolling and up into 3rd.
