**my new private reg**





i never knew you could get Zs on old type number plates ?
(i know the Z is at the end of the letters) before any one says its an M reg plate & not a Z reg !!

where did you buy the plate dutty as I,Q and Z are all not allowed on old style plates. (in the last 3 letters)

Irish plates are the **Z **** format

i dont get it !
is that plate real ?
as im sure the uk plates dont have zs in them, i know that irish plates are like MAZ 3839, or IBZ 1234 etc, but that ones a uk reg plate !

I also thought that you cant choose I, Q or Z -- a friend tried to get a DAZ plate and wasnt allowed. He could get something like DAZ 2772 or whatever from other companies.... but not the usual one like you have from the DVLA!

mine is EHZ 9421 - signed up for the car on my 21st b/day and had a choice of 2 plates
9421 is kinda personal (mine for 21st) :)

yes quite a few people that i know have got Z in ther reg plates, my mum n dad got me this so cant really help about where they got it from

thats a gud plate, u guys shud try http://www.dvla-som.co.ukwww.dvla-som.co.uk, instead of tryin all these man in the middle companys, thats direct its much cheaper, and u cant go wrong with them

have you had it transferred to your car yet Dutty?? Or are they just show plates? I really wanted DAZ in my standard plates, but dvla says I, Q and Z are not permitted in the last 3 letters of a legal plate.

Im confused, can you shed any light mate? :confused:

*edit* oh and I know about irish plates DAZ 2427 and new style plates which allow Zs in the last 3 letters e.g DA51 DAZ

is this a show plate or have you transferred it to your car? ie the RAZ questions above?

Have you tried to assign the plate to your vehicle with the DVLA yet?

As i noticed at FCS that the tax disc in your car still had your original reg on it and that your new plates were just stuck on top of your road legal ones.

It would appear to me that this reg is for show purposes only, unless you want to prove me wrong and post a picture of your certificate of entitlement.
