My New ride (Nimbus content)

After selling my LY 182 a few weeks back i wasnt long on the hunt before a very nice chap called Steve Murr come knocking about a 197!

Because of the age, milage and spec (exactly what i wanted) i was all to glad to take him up on the car so long as it was as mint as he said it was which thankfully it was!

Car details -

58 plate Nimbus on just over 6.5k
Cup Chassis
Mint Recaros
Satin Black Speedlines
And the all important folding mirrors

After i have finshed enjoying the drive i will get Simon1 out with his Anoraks camera cool to get some better picture and hopefully edit them better than my attempts with the number plate! lol

Its funny mate! The day you and Royston were raving about it i took a litte trek down to Renault to see what it was about and even in standard trim the colour looked ace!

I probably still would've preferd RB or GW to tell you the truth but Nimbus is a top colour and the age, milage and spec of the car was more important to me tbh - I doubt i would've found a better all rounder for my money!

Ahhhh! My friend! You liked and owned Albi though!

We obviously have very contratsing tastes but if we all liked the same the world would be a very boring place as they say!

Albi = win, no other word for it!!That said though, i strangley have a longing for a 197 Cup in Nimbus, the black rubbing strips work well with the colour imo


Looks mint mate, get a cover for that Recaro, and 'jump' into it, try not to rub that bolster on the way in

It come with a tailored cover but to be honest i wont use the car enough to warrant it i dont think!

The Xenons were a downer but not one worth passing up the car for imo!

I did notice the difference when coming through the Darford tunnel this morning though - I really did take the light they give off for granted!

Just get a set of cornering lights mate, they look much better and aren't expensive to swap over
