Well actually, the valver seems to actually be quicker above 80... terminal speed on my runway is actually quicker at certain points than the 172 was.

paignton mate, found it on ebay... then when it ended not meeting the reserve, i went there, told him what was wrong with it and how much it was going to cost to put right and got £350 off of it!

Trust me, i miss my 172, and i wasnt expecting the valver to be as quick... its suprised me by accelerating to the same if not quicker speeds in certain points. bare in mind the valver is actually lighter than the 172 anyway...

LOL @ eats alive, my old 16v used to post regular 6.5 to 60mph and mid 15s on the 1/4, I doubt many 172's would have 'eat it alive'

Yeah i know mate, wasnt really gettin at youyou, was just making a point as you see it so much in here. lol

Iv had a low milaged valver which i personally converted to a low milaged 2.0 16v within the past 3 years so i know them well enough. The 2.0 got close to the 182 but i wouldnt say the original 1.8 did.
