Cheers mate, i want to keep them but by the end of it, it would of cost me over £400 for a set of 172 wheels and tyres.... and yeah refurbing them and going to spray them white.

Yeah hope it isnt got the rocker cover off just need some sockets to take the head of now but looking at the front valves they don't look too bad but then it could be a different story when the head is off and we can see the rest of them.
I want a 1.6 16v just depends how much this will all be if its over £300 ish ill probs get a 1.6 engine n box. But ill have t wait and see.

ahhh feel sorry for you mate, i think i would cry just think a 1.6t engine would be sweet, theres someone on here with a 1.6 running 160 bhp which is clolse to a standard sport
Cheers mate, pretty feking gutted tbh, but s**t happens. Just going to sort this out and get it all fresh proper service etc at least i know were the engine stands condition wise then.

My bad i thought u ment turbines >.< im not a fan of valvers on ph2's if i was going to get some id want some turbines or some williams wheels ( to expensive tho >.< )
Also car should be back up and running tonight, we have done the cambelt our selfs, guy dropped of the head yesterday all new valves etc just need to set up the tappets anyone know what they should be,

Valve clearance inlet 0.10mm cold
Valve clearance exhaust 0.20mm cold
I need to invest in a hayens manual
Also car should be back up and running tonight, we have done the cambelt our selfs, guy dropped of the head yesterday all new valves etc just need to set up the tappets anyone know what they should be,

Got the car back up and running, just waiting on the bill
All the wheels are sanded and ready to be sprayed this weekend
All center caps have been sorted and sprayed before a couple had holes in and were bent so filled them with some chemical metal and smoothed them over.
Depending how well it goes tomorrow there should be a few pictures.
Might give the car a mega clean whilst the wheels are off and scrub the arches and paint the calipers again.
Going to change oil and oil filter too as its a bit tappy after the rebuild
Other than that not much has happened, Tickets arrived couple weeks ago for fcs

If cambelt didn't snap then i would have but had to sell them.

Got some poor boys black hole and a new drying towel so i can give it a proper going over at the weekend ready for fcs

After a delivery of my PoorBoys BlackHole and drying towel i wanted to give her a proper going over.
Woke up to gales and heavy rain, wasn't looking good, eventually it stopped raining so i started.
Washed and dryed it then gave it a clay ( First time using the stuff )
Then onto the PoorBoys cover it in that and im amazed at how much off a difference just that makes.
Then waxed it with DoDo Juice '' Orange Crush''
Sun had set so there a little dark will get some better pictures tomorrow

There anthracite, gunna lave em for a couple weeks then maybe spray them white not sure ill have to do a few ps's when i get them on
