my ph 1 172 with 1.4 16v gearbox

I killed my gearbox a while ago........... And i can't find a jc5 box.. at a good price .
I put a 1.4 16v jc1 box against it.(just relocate some guiding pins an starter pins)
It drives fine!!It feels faster

But wil this last? (wil this die? )
Anywone did this to?
Is it a strong box??

any updates? ive got a ph2 172 with hole in the box, got a 1,4 16v box out of a ph1 in garage, can i stick that in for time being to move car about till i get a 172 one in? how long did it last?
